Yes. ScholarX internship participation is free. You can apply, receive the offer letter, complete assigned projects, and submit your work without paying any internship fee.

Is the certificate optional?
Yes. Verified certificate generation is optional. You can complete the internship tasks and choose whether you want to generate the verified certificate after approval.
What does the certificate fee include?
The certificate processing fee covers verification record creation, certificate ID generation, QR-based public verification, certificate image generation, and delivery support.
How much is the processing fee?
The standard verified certificate processing fee is INR 149. Eligible ambassador/referral discounts or promo codes may reduce the final amount when available.
When do I pay the certificate fee?
Only after all required projects are approved. The payment option appears after your work is reviewed and you become eligible for certificate generation.
Do I need to pay again if my certificate was already paid?
No. If a payment is already completed for an eligible certificate, ScholarX can regenerate or unlock the certificate without asking you to pay again.
What happens if my payment succeeds but the certificate does not appear?
Open your dashboard again. ScholarX checks recent Cashfree payments and can automatically recover completed payments. You can also contact support with your registered email.
Are projects reviewed manually?
Yes. Submitted work is reviewed by admin. If a project is rejected, you can resubmit it after reading the feedback.
Can I verify a certificate publicly?
Yes. Every generated certificate has a unique certificate ID and QR verification link that opens the public verification page.
Can I start multiple internships with the same email?
You can do one active internship at a time with one email. After completing the current internship, you can start again from signup.
